COMPUTEGRID / PLANNING REFERENCE

Plan the workload.
Then measure it.

The planner estimates a working memory set for an illustrative workload. It does not allocate devices, quote capacity or predict benchmark performance.

1. Choose a starting example

Inference, Vision batch and Simulation set the parameter, precision, batch and activation assumptions. These are illustrative combinations, not measured hardware profiles.

2. Change one constraint at a time

Move the parameter or batch slider. Select a precision and per-item activation size. The diagram and breakdown recalculate immediately.

3. Compare the available budget

Choose 24, 48 or 80 GiB as an example single-device capacity. Fifteen percent remains reserved. An over-budget state explains the estimated shortfall instead of claiming that a job will run.

4. Export and validate

Save the plan as JSON. Measure a representative case with the intended software, compare peak usage with the estimate and revise the assumptions. Reset returns all controls to the starting example.
